Geo Paskell of Manningtree, Introducing New Faces.

The family firm of Geo Paskell Funeral Service was started in Wix in 1837, and has been firmly established as part of the Manningtree community since 1985, when the office moved from the timberyard at Wix to High Street, Manningtree after being acquired by Trevor and Melanie Hunnaball.

Since then, Saul Hunnaball has become well known as the face of funerals in the area, and over the years he has built up a dedicated and caring team of professionals who work alongside him in the community.

New to the team are Lynne Thorpe, Carol Neal and Sam Winney, who have joined Ruth Clarke and manager Andrew Petts.

Lynne has worked for the company for 9 years and has transferred from the Ipswich branch, Carol has relocated from Colchester, and Sam is a non-stipendiary priest, who is part of the Harwich Team Ministry.

The team at Paskell’s are committed to providing the very best of care for bereaved families, and also organise a ‘Tea and Support’ friendship group which meets once a month.

The branch will be promoting the ‘Dying Matters’ campaign in May, a national initiative which encourages people to talk about their wishes, and the team at Paskells will be available to offer expert guidance and advice for anyone who wants to call in for a chat and a cup of coffee.
